Hey everyone! Today for Stylish Sunday I wanted to talk to you about my new favorite sweatshirt! It is a gray sweatshirt with the words 147 million orphans across it. This sweatshirt supports the 147 Million Orphans foundation. Before I go into my sweatshirt and other products associated with the sweatshirt I want to talk about the foundation a little more.
The 147 Million Orphans foundation was created in 2009 by Gwen Oatsvall and Suzanne Mayernick. This foundation provides food, water, medicine and shelter to the children who are orphaned and living in poverty. They are able to provide all of this by our support. In other words donations and purchasing of different products partnered up with the foundation. Some of the companies that you can purchase from are; the 147 Million Orphans store, my first reading club, and DIFF eyewear. I will link the different shops below for those who would like to contribute to this foundation.
Now onto the sweatshirt! It is a smokey grey distressed vintage hoodie. Across the chest is 147 Million Orphans in white block letters. It is made of 55% cotton and 45% polyester. With all that being said it is the most comfortable sweatshirt ever! I love it and if I could wear it 24/7 I definitely would! The sizes offered are small to 3x Large. I am 4’11” and wear a size 0 and XS normally. I bought a size small. It is a little big on me, but it just makes it that much better for lounging in. Sweatshirts are not the only thing that is offered. They also offer a few shirts. There is a throwback vintage baseball tee that is offered in sizes XS-Small. It has black sleeves with a multi colored 147 across the chest. Another shirt is a white comfort color long sleeve shirt. It has a pocket on the left and 147 million orphans written across the pocket. The last shirt that is offered is the oatmeal/dark heather ¾ sleeves Henley. It has grey sleeves and a white body. Like the last 147 million orphans is written in a square on the left side. All of the shirts are so cute! I have not bought any of them yet, but when I do I will definitely let you know what I think!
This is such a great foundation and I love everything about it! I will definitely be supporting the 147 Million Orphans foundation more in the future. Have you heard of any of the above companies or the 147 Million Orphans foundation? What are some foundations that you support? Let me know in the comments below!
