Hi everyone! Today I am going to tell you about my favorite supplement brand, olly. I buy mine from Target for $13.99! Olly offers multiple supplements, but I have only tried four so far.
The first supplement I tried was purely probiotic. With a flavor of tropical mango it tastes amazing! The probiotics contain bacillus coagulans. This is a must buy item!
The second supplement I bought was goodbye stress with the taste of berry verbena. The ingredients are gaba, L-theanine, and lemon balm. The gaba is what promotes relaxation by boosting your brain waves. L-theanine helps you keep calm by supporting the alpha waves in your brain. The last ingredient, lemon balm helps quiet the the mind. This really works, and is worth every penny.
The third product is restful sleep, and tastes like blackberry Zen. The ingredients in restful sleep are; melatonin, L-theanine, and different botanicals. The melatonin helps promote a healthy sleep cycle. The L-theanine is an amino acid that promotes calmness. The botanicals in this are; chamomile, passion flower, and lemon balm. This helps you soothe yourself and relax! I always have this product on hand!
The last product I bought was the perfect women’s multi vitamin. There are multiple flavors in this container. You will taste blackberry, raspberry, and blueberry acai. This multi vitamin is full of vitamin d3, vitamin e, vitamin b6, vitamin b12, folic acid, and biotin. I just started taking this, but I am loving it!

Hey everyone! I know it is a couple days late, but for this week’s Tasty Tuesday I want to talk about memory and focus inducing foods. This idea originally came to me while I was in class on Tuesday night. I was falling asleep in class and trying my absolute hardest to stay awake! It got me thinking about if there were any foods that could help me be more energized and have better focus. This morning I looked up if there were any foods that did what I wanted and I discovered that there are quite a few!
The first food that helps with memory is beets. Beets are natural nitrates, meaning that they help boost blood flow to the brain. Not only do beets help with memory they also help with boosting your energy, which is great for those long days! The next food may be my favorite of the options! Blueberries will not help with short term memory, but it will help in the long run. There is Gallic acid in blueberries which helps protect against brain degeneration and stress! Another good food to help with memory is broccoli. Broccoli is rich in fibers which helps keep your brain focused and improves your memory. The last food that I am going to talk about is dark chocolate. It helps in the free flow of blood to your brain. A good thing to keep in mind with dark chocolate is that the darker it is the more health benefits you will receive. It is also best to get dark chocolate that is processed with at least 70 percent of cocoa.

In my previous post I mentioned that I have trouble sleeping through the night. Two weeks ago I went to the chiropractor, and he asked me what my quality of sleep was like. I told him that I usually wake up in the middle of the night and stay awake for the next hour or two. His solution was red color therapy glasses. I am going to share my personal opinion on them now. Just a heads up, all opinions are my own and I do not benefit from any of this. I like to call them “witch glasses,” but in all honesty they are amazing and really do work!
The red glasses are designed to block the blue lights that electronics and other lights give off. These glasses also help relax you, resulting in a better night’s sleep. They work great, and I sleep through the night with no problem.
I put the glasses on before I go to bed, and keep them on for 20-60 minutes. While wearing them I can feel myself starting to relax and doze off. I started tracking my sleep with my fit bit and noticed that I am sleeping through the night, and getting a better and deeper sleep. The only downfall is that I sleep 10-12 hours straight and wake up exhausted in the morning. This is usually fixed by getting up and moving around.
